İstanbul’a Zafer Hediyesi: Sürgünler (1453-1514)

چکیده

Savaşların ardından galip gelen tarafın mağlup olan tarafta bulunan insanları bireysel veya toplu sürgüne tabi tutması tarihin bilinen en eski devirlerinden beri sıkça uygulanan bir olgudur. Osmanlı Devleti de diğer Türk devletlerinden, Selçuklulardan hatta Bizans’tan aldığı bu geleneksel yöntemi, merkez olma özelliğini Bizans döneminde kaybetmiş İstanbul’u yeniden ilmî, ticarî, iktisadî, sınaî, dinî ve siyasî anlamda parlak yapmak için kullanmıştır. Bu bağlamda II. Mehmed’in fethin akabinde şehrin nüfusunu artırmak coğrafyasından yaptığı sürgünlere Mora, Amasra, Trabzon, Midilli, Foça, Karaman Kefe’den yapılan sürgünlerle Otlukbeli Savaşı’ndan sonra sürgünler eklenmiştir. I. Selim Çaldıran zaferinden girdiği Tebriz’den alimlerin, sanatkârların, zanaatkârların, tacirlerin zenginlerin başını çektiği nitelikli aileleri, malları eşyalarıyla birlikte İstanbul’a sürerek dedesinin çekim merkezi yapma siyasetini devam ettirmiştir. çalışma da Mehmed ele geçirilen şehirlerden Savaşı’nın zaferle girilen sürgünleri konu edinmiştir.
